Areas of interest: Dr. Welch’s professional/medical interests include prostate MR and cancer screening. During his training, he was able to combine his medical interests and love for travel to create an exchange program between Mozambique and UCSD residents. They performed the first MR prostate ever in Mozambique during this collaboration! In addition to traveling, he loves to surfs and experience nature in general.
